A protest against the anti-immigrant policies of the Trump administration and treatment of poultry workers in Springdale drew more than 100 people, including poultry plant workers, families and friends, in a peaceful protest and march through the city. The protest was organized by Venceremos, the Springdale-based poultry workers’ rights group. Magaly Licolli, the group’s executive director, said the goal was to bring unity to the community and uplift the voices of immigrants — not only undocumented but all immigrants. During the pandemic, poultry workers were deemed essential workers to maintain the nation’s food supply, only to now be persecuted, Licolli said.

Legislation supported by Tom Cotton will remove the $200 tax stamp requirement for the purchase of suppressors. Berryville-based Wilson Combat, famous for its custom make 1911 pistols and other premium firearms gear has been building and selling suppressors since around 2011.
