The Arkansas Razorbacks (9-4) became Outback Bowl champions, shutting-out Penn State in the second half to add their fourth trophy for the year. Sun-kissed fans descended onto nearby Clearwater Beach to greet the Razorbacks marching band and cheer squad and again during a New Year’s Eve parade in Tampa’s historic Latin District, Ybor City. Clearwater mayor Frank Hibbard presented a key to the city to second year coach Sam Pittman, who has revived a football program that sat at the bottom of the SEC.
